Fitness of mind and body in sport

We heard a lot of sport stars and how they managed to achieve amazing results at what they do. We also know all the fame and money they get nowadays; sometimes we wish to be in their place just to get that feeling of being well-known among people. Being famous is not as easy as it may sound to be; even actors stay in form and go through painful diet programs just to stay in shape and hold up their image for the world. In the world of sport there is no place for slackers or the weak-hearted people, it's not a matter of short or tall, but it's all about shape and fitness. Weight, muscles and mental awareness are what makes the difference in every sport; those decide if you win or lose or be the best or the worst. The performance of an athlete depends on these three elements heavily and should be taken seriously.

Boxing at the first glance might look like a brutal fist to fist sport and one thinks that it needs strong muscles to win; it is actually true that you need to build your body, but it is more of a mind game than just landing hits on the opponent. It's a sport that you need to do more damage to the opposition then receiving yourself; it's about thinking where to hit the opponent and throw fear in his heart to disturb his chain of thinking then finish him off with a final blow. To summarize, it's a mental and body game. Research indicates that a successful boxer shows positive emotions before every fight; most boxers take fights with an aim to win, and in return they know that they might get injured, so they try to inflict more harm to avoid being injured. The moment the opponent flinches in a split second, that is where the boxer's mind gets motivated and starts dealing more damage.
The athletes sometimes have to reduce their body mass to perform better or to be faster.

In theworld of soccer different body builds perform in a different way. This sport requires high stamina and strength to maintain their abilities during the match. It has the fast player, the physically strong player, the tactical player and more. To be a successful and well-shaped player you have to keep in mind your weight and the amount of fat your body harbors, so it does not get in the way of your movement; flexibility is also needed to avoid some injuries. I'll take the famous player Cristiano Ronaldo, currently playing for Real Madrid, as an example of how he worked his way to stardom. Cristiano Ronaldo often stayed after training to further develop his skills. He followed a very strict routine, where he managed to transform from the skinny boy when he played for Manchester City to the muscular man he is now.

Cristiano Ronaldo trains four to five days a week and changes depending on the match schedule, and he follows it without slacking as well as other professional athletes who have a training plan. He takes care of his sleeping time and likes to sleep early to get up early; after all a sound mind is in a sound body. To keep up this shape and body a diet plan is needed. He eats around 6 times a day; some of it is snack meals. As a start getting enough sleep is essential and he begins the day with a breakfast full of proteins and carbohydrates. At lunch, one has to remember not to eat too much, and he goes for low calorie food with lots of fruit and vegetables. For dinner, the final meal of the day should be rich in fiber, proteins, vitamins and carbohydrates. Rounding all of it up, following these training exercises, drills and tips can help him to become healthier, and he has stayed motivated and disciplined, as he has always worked hard and he is mentally strong and this allowed him to keep focus on his goals on the pitch and off it. All of this training is what made Cristiano Ronaldo faster and a sniper for goals; as a result he has a strong leg muscles and endurance that helps him play long matches.

As we can deduce, that leading a healthy life and keep in shape plays a big role no matter what is the sport. Training for an athletic event in some way affects health by helping people stick to their fitness programs. Sports provide assessable, tangible goals, such as improving speed, strength, balance and coordination. The person training for an event will be less likely to miss exercise sessions; he may also be more conscious about his nutrition and hydration needs. Playing sports of any kind requires certain body training to be able to maintain your form. Being fat will get in the way of your favourite sport, but with exercise you can keep yourself safe.
